Download the final conference program here: ISTAR Program – version 14th of June 2017
The target group for this conference is researchers, clinicians, teachers and others engaged in the transition from childhood to adulthood. We aim to provide an opportunity to share research findings and experiences and to provide plenty of opportunities for discussions.
There will be a get together event on the evening of the 18th of June 2017. Bring walking shoes to this event (and an openness for local culture). The conference will start on the morning Monday the 19th of June and end at lunch time 21st of June. These days will be a mixture of plenary sessions, seminars, poster exhibition, group discussions and time for networking. A conference dinner will take place on the evening of 20th of June. Read more about the key note speakers on another webpage (more presentations from submitted abstracts will come).
The overarching theme for the conference is “Enablers and barriers for successful transition from childhood to adulthood – 3rd biannual international ISTAR conference”. Submitted abstracts will be grouped within the four sub-themes for the conference:
- Psycho-social aspects on the transition from childhood to adulthood
- The transition from childhood to adulthood in children with special needs
- The role of the society versus family and friends
- Spiritual aspects on the transition from childhood to adulthood
Don’t forget to register for the conference. Do it today!
